Laughter Yoga is a wellness practice that combines playful laughter exercises with deep breathing techniques, encouraging both physical and mental relaxation. Originating from India, it was developed by Dr. Madan Kataria, who recognised the immense health benefits of laughter on the body and mind. A typical session involves a series of light physical movements, playful interactions, and guided breathing exercises, designed to boost energy levels, reduce stress, and promote a sense of connection and positivity. This makes Laughter Yoga an ideal addition to corporate well-being events, fostering team bonding, reducing tension, and helping employees to recharge in a fun and accessible way. It’s an excellent way to break the ice and improve morale.

An artisan teabag-making workshop offers a unique and engaging experience that combines relaxation, creativity, and team-building. Participants will have the opportunity to blend their own teabags using a variety of ingredients whilst learning about the calming and health-boosting properties of different herbs and spices. This hands-on activity not only promotes mindfulness and stress reduction but also encourages collaboration and communication in a relaxed setting. It’s an enjoyable and refreshing way to support workplace wellness and team cohesion. Each participant makes a selection of tea bags which they will package up and take away with them.

A team sound bath event offers a deeply restorative and calming experience that can significantly benefit both the individual and the team as a whole. During a sound bath, participants are immersed in soothing sounds from crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes, which help quiet the mind, reduce stress, and promote a state of deep relaxation. This practice is known to improve mental clarity, reduce anxiety, and restore energy levels. By creating a collective experience of peace and relaxation, it enhances team cohesion, supports emotional well-being, and ultimately boosts productivity and focus in the workplace.

Breathwork helps regulate the nervous system, calm the mind, and improve focus, while the soothing vibrations of a sound bath promote deep relaxation and mental clarity. This combination allows participants to firstly connect to the breath and achieve a greater sense of balance before seamlessly drifting off to be bathed in sound. By offering both mental and physical rejuvenation, a breathwork and sound bath session helps teams reset together, improving overall workplace harmony, creativity, and productivity.

Qigong, an ancient Chinese practice that combines mindful movement, breath control, and meditation, helps balance energy, reduce stress, and improve mental clarity. In a corporate setting, Qigong sessions encourage participants to slow down, focus on their breath, and engage in mindful, flowing movements that relieve tension and enhance relaxation. As a group activity, Qigong fosters a sense of unity and calm, while also improving focus, flexibility, and resilience. It’s an excellent way for colleagues to unwind together, support each other’s well-being, and develop a more centered and energised mindset—leading to a more cohesive, balanced, and productive team environment.

Breathwork is a powerful, therapeutic practice that involves consciously controlling and regulating one’s breathing patterns to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It has roots in ancient traditions such as yoga and meditation but is now widely recognised for its modern applications in stress management and mental health. Breathwork techniques can vary in complexity, from simple deep breathing exercises to more structured practices like diaphragmatic breathing or box breathing. The practice of breathwork directly influences the nervous system. By engaging in slow, deep, and controlled breathing, individuals activate the parasympathetic nervous system, responsible for the body’s rest and digest response. This helps counter the fight-or-flight response triggered by stress or anxiety, calming the mind, reducing tension in the body, and promoting feelings of relaxation and clarity. We offer a large range of different breathwork coaching sessions depending on the experience and abilities of each group. We can run a series of workshops that help employees over 6 session connect and improve the way they breathe.

A team EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) session, also known as tapping, provides a powerful tool for reducing stress and enhancing emotional resilience. EFT combines gentle tapping on acupressure points with verbal affirmations to release negative emotions and mental blocks. In a corporate setting, this practice can help employees manage anxiety, increase focus, and improve overall well-being. As a shared experience, it fosters emotional awareness and openness, encouraging better communication and understanding among colleagues. By helping individuals release stress and limiting beliefs, a team EFT session creates a positive, supportive environment where employees feel more connected, energized, and productive.

The 2 hour breathwork session on focus was a great reminder that stress can be handled in the moment, with something as simple as breathing. In a knowledge-based profession we get stuck in hour heads, and often get lost when we want the solution to our stress, or sense of overwhelm, to be an intellectual exercise. The session guided us through using body and breath, instead of our minds, to cope with challenging and stressful situations – something I hope my team will add to their professional toolboxes.
